Transformers 3, review

Transformers 3
Paramount and DreamWorks have officially announced that they will be making Transformers 3, and releasing the film on Friday, July 1st 2011. No word on if Michael Bay or stars Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox are set to return, but I would be really surprised if it didn’t happen.
Summer 2011 is really beginning to shape up as Transformers 3 becomes the third film announced thus far for July — Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II hits on the 15th and Marvel’s The First Avenger: Captain America hits on the 22nd. Paramount has also moved up the release date of Marvel’s Thor to May 20th to give the threequel more breathing room.

Green Lantern Movie, the new Hollywood thriller

Green Lantern Movie

As some of you may know there is a Green Lantern Movie coming out. It's gonna be awesome. So I thought I would take this time to help everyone get amped for the movie.

First off lets start with detail. For those who don't know the Green Lantern Corp are basicly the police force of the Universe. Each Green Lantern possesses a power ring and power lantern that gives the user great control over the physical world as long as the wielder has sufficient willpower and strength to wield it. The ring is one of the most powerful weapons in the universe. So its pretty big stuff.

Charlie Sheen goes on making fortunes

Charlie Sheen making millions

Charlie Sheen also made a small fortune on his post-firing ‘Torpedo of Truth’ live tour, organized by concert giants Live Nation, despite decidedly mixed reviews (he was booed in some venues, and critics panned it). Including his appearance fees and merchandise sales, he raked in an estimated $7 million.
The actor also made approximately $2 million in the past 12 months on endorsements, including his Twitter sponsorship deal with Ad.ly. He has a huge following on the social media site, which bolstered his #28 ranking on the Forbes Celebrity 100. When we finalized our data for the list on May 1, he had just over 3.6 million Twitter followers. Today he has almost 4 million.

All about X-men First Class, movie review

X-Men First Class
The popularity of the ‘X-Men’ series stems from the fact that its mutants are stand-ins for the marginalised among us. Only these mutants have the abilities, if they choose to find and channel them, to retaliate against their oppressors.
Despite being lower in the established social strata, they have the powers to shuffle the existing order in their favor. The question that remains, then, is how they choose to effect this change – through dialog or damage infliction. Matthew Vaughn’s ‘X-Men First Class’ is concerned with the same issues that made the first three Bryan Singer films in the series entertaining.

A Review on Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides

Mounted on a sprawling canvas it was beset by constructs that bordered on the ridiculous and character after superfluous character. With the aid of Johnny Depp, the ever-reliable Geoffrey Rush, an often under-appreciated Bill Nighy and a reigned in script, Verbinski managed to draw the series to a conclusion in ‘At World’s End’. Or so we thought until the last few minutes the previous instalment of the theme park attraction turned film franchise.
