Transformers 3, review

Transformers 3

Paramount and DreamWorks have officially announced that they will be making Transformers 3, and releasing the film on Friday, July 1st 2011. No word on if Michael Bay or stars Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox are set to return, but I would be really surprised if it didn’t happen.

Summer 2011 is really beginning to shape up as Transformers 3 becomes the third film announced thus far for July — Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II hits on the 15th and Marvel’s The First Avenger: Captain America hits on the 22nd. Paramount has also moved up the release date of Marvel’s Thor to May 20th to give the threequel more breathing room.

Superstar Rajanikanth's new film 'Rana'- details

Superstar Rajnikanth's next film Rana features him in a triple role. Directed by K.S.Ravikumar (director of Rajnikanth's earlier films Muthu and Padayappa)is likely to begin the film's shooting next month. The film will be released next year in Tamil, Telegu and Hindi.

The film Rana is being co-produced by Eros International and Chennai based-Ocher Studios - the Studio's director is Rajnikanth's daughter Soundarya. Rana Film Story: In various interviews with the media, director K. S. Ravikumar has said that the film Rana will be a period film and an out-and-out action entertainer, emphasizing that superstar Rajinikanth will don a totally different look.

Double Dhamaal

'Double Dhamaal', unlike the 2007 film whose sequel it is, has absolutely no plot to speak of. The film's entirely unfunny first half involves Dutt conning the four protagonists - Ritesh Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Ashish Choudhary and Javed Jaffrey - into selling sewage water as oil. The tables turn in the second half, when the boys decide to strip Dutt of his ill-earned riches and his joy.

Bollywood- All about Bhindi bazaar.inc, a review

The film is set in the underbelly of Mumbai, between the infamous by-lanes where ‘Greed is a Culture’ and ‘Deceit becomes a Compulsion’. It revolves around gangs of Mumbai who have embraced pick-pocketing as an art and a means of earning a livelihood. They use their intelligence as a canvas and their spontaneity as a brush to survive in this dangerous profession.

Green Lantern Movie

As some of you may know there is a Green Lantern Movie coming out. It's gonna be awesome. So I thought I would take this time to help everyone get amped for the movie.

First off lets start with detail. For those who don't know the Green Lantern Corp are basicly the police force of the Universe. Each Green Lantern possesses a power ring and power lantern that gives the user great control over the physical world as long as the wielder has sufficient willpower and strength to wield it. The ring is one of the most powerful weapons in the universe. So its pretty big stuff.

VAAADA VEEDU

Voter (Vishal) and Dandam Saaru (Aarya) are stepbrothers. They were born in the family of thieves. While Voter could not tread the path of his elders, Dandam Saaru masters his family’s tradition. Highness is the zamindar of the village.

Shaitan thriller

Set in modern Mumbai (named after the goddess Mumbadevi, who, according to one of the main protagonists, Amrita “Amy” Jaishankar, looks “so pretty”), the movie talks about the lives of seven people – Amy (Kalki Koechlin), with a traumatic childhood, Dushyant “Dash” Sahu (Shiv Pandit) who has a penchant for drugs and bigger penchant for living life on the edge, Zubin (Neil Bhoopalam), a tech geek with issues of sexual frustration.

Bollywood- Salman Khans 'Ready', box office hit

Ready is emerging as a super hit at the Indian box office.

With little competition from the new release Shaitan, Ready thundered on in its second-week run at theaters with no let-up in collections. The film witnessed an exceptionally good second weekend. It collected Rs. 4.5 crores on Friday, Rs. 5.9 crores on Saturday and the collections shot up to Rs 9.05 crores on Sunday. The total second-weekend collection amounts to more than Rs 19 crores.

X-Men First Class

The popularity of the ‘X-Men’ series stems from the fact that its mutants are stand-ins for the marginalised among us. Only these mutants have the abilities, if they choose to find and channel them, to retaliate against their oppressors.

Despite being lower in the established social strata, they have the powers to shuffle the existing order in their favor. The question that remains, then, is how they choose to effect this change – through dialog or damage infliction. Matthew Vaughn’s ‘X-Men First Class’ is concerned with the same issues that made the first three Bryan Singer films in the series entertaining.

Badrinath Allu Arjun and Tamanna 1

The movie Badrinath is directed by V.V.Vinayak under the banner of Geetha Arts produced by Allu Arvind. This movie is made at the budget of 40 crores. After Bunny this is Vinayak’s second movie with Arvind. M.M.Keeravani who has given music for Allu Arjun in “Vedam” is giving tracks for this movie too. News is that this movie might hit ts screens before his wedding.

READY is a full-on entertainer, a paisa vasool film that has just one motive entertainment and it succeeds in its endeavor absolutely. On the whole, READY is strictly for the masses and for those who relish typically formulaic masala entertainers.

Po, the Dragon Warrior (Jack Black), again struggles with his identity in this film. Teaming up with the Furious Five (returning cast including Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan, Seth Rogen, Lucy Liu, and David Cross) again, they try to save China from the new antagonist, Lord Shen (Gary Oldman), a menacing peacock who cannot let go of his past. Lord Shen is one of the links to the panda’s past and a key to unlock Po’s memory. The Soothsayer, a goat (Michelle Yeoh), plays significant roles in both of their lives, as she understands the past, present, and future. To overcome Lord Shen and his personal crisis, Po must find “inner peace,” just as Master Shifu (Dustin Hoffman) has found.

BYE BYE BANGKOK is a comedy about four couples – Anirban and his wife Aparajita is a couple who is not much in love with each other. Anirban is an ad film maker who is going around with a girl named Pritha, who is also the wife of a man named Milon, who deals in real estate. Pritha who runs a N.G.O always dreams of getting awards without doing anything. Anirban’s wife Aparajita who is a professor of Philosophy doesn’t like Anirban’s lifestyle.

Limitless is a movie with a great concept with some rather decent acting. The plot is well written an all the actors play their roles. I love the concept of the crazy pill. Can I get one of those?

However, with the pill comes the consequences and that is something the movie depicts rather clearly. Withdrawal symptoms, desperation and sickness come with the territory. Bradley Cooper does a great job at portraying Eddie in his various forms. De Niro plays his role as always, having matured as an actor over the many many years.
