In Kannur, the District Tourism Promotion Council is quite active. Central Kerala is well served by the ATDC. The Government of India Tourist Office—open weekdays 9-5:30 and Saturday 9-1—has its own vehicles, boats, lodgings, and tours.
Air Travel
Air India, Kingfisher Airlines and Jet Airways cover domestic routes; there are no flights within Kerala itself.
Rail Travel
Rail journeys in Kerala can be scenic, and more comfortable than traveling by car. The KK Express—which travels from Kanya Kumari, at India's southern tip, all the way up to New Delhi—is a good train to take through Kerala, as is the Kerala Express.
Money
There is no limit to the amount of foreign currency that visitors can bring.

Temple Codes
